Search & Recovery
Underwater search and recovery operations is what we do. Our team of professional, certified, and talented divers have numerous hours of practical experience searching for and recovering vehicles and crime scene evidence. We are on call 24/7.
If search and recovery is what we do, training is what we preach. We work with all levels of law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and tow companies to provide continuing education and training. This includes recreational divers, of any skill level, as well.
If you're a public safety diver, police or fire department looking for additional training or recertification, we can provide you or your team advanced level training to make sure you're ready for recertification to make sure you're prepared for the next dive call.
New to SCUBA diving or building on your existing skill set? We can help! Our team of certified divers are SDI certified SCUBA instructors. Whether it's your open water certification or advanced, our hands-on approach will ensure you're ready for any diving adventure.
Each Code 3 diver has been trained as an ERDI public safety diver and must have ERDI 1 and 2 certifications following OSHA and NFPA standards. We also have state certified FDLE & ERDI crime scene technicians on staff. Additionally, team members are certified and trained to use a full-face mask (including wireless & hardwired communications), dry suit and under water rigging equipment before participating in any dive operations. Code 3 divers are required to attend monthly training taught by Code 3 Divers PSD instructors in order to maintain a standard of proficiency and knowledge.
Code 3 Divers has access to multiple marine vessels in both the public and private sector working with police and fire departments as well as the United States Coast Guard and maritime towing companies. Our inflatables and Rescue One Connector dive boats are equipped with side-scan and down-scan sonar technology and marine band radios.
The Code 3 Divers equipment trailer is stocked with sate-of-the-art gear to support all dive operations. It is self contained with 12v and 110 power, A/C, freshwater systems, computers and on-board WiFi.
