Scuba Diving Training

SDI Open Water Certification

Code 3 Divers & Training, in partnership with SDI, makes it possible for you to complete all of the academic  requirements for your entry-level scuba diver certification remotely, online. You can get started right now with your open water certification course! When you are done online, you will then complete your in-water skill development sessions and final open water training dives. Get certified in as little as 3 days. It’s that simple! 

Course prerequisites:

  • Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent
     

SDI Open Water Scuba Diver minimum requirements:

  • Demonstrate mature and sound judgment concerning dive planning and execution

  • Satisfactorily complete the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver knowledge quests or equivalent online learning course

  • Complete all open water requirements safely and efficiently

Scuba Diver in Ocean

SDI Advanced Diver Certification

During the advanced diver certification course your instructor will guide you through four specialty courses (deep, wreck, drift diving, navigation, photo, video, and more) covering all the necessary skills and subjects, so that by the end, you will feel comfortable to conduct dives of a similar nature. By earning the SDI Advanced Scuba Diver certification you will have increased abilities and comfort in the water.

Course prerequisites:

  • SDI Open Water Scuba Diver, SDI Junior Open Water Scuba Diver, or equivalent

  • Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent

SDI Advanced Diver minimum requirements:

  • Complete four SDI, TDI, or ERDI Specialty Diver courses or equivalent; only 1 course without dives, may be credited towards the SDI Advanced Diver development program, with the exception of SDI Computer Nitrox

  • Proof of 25 logged dives

Scuba Lessons

SDI Rescue Diver Certification

The SDI Rescue Diver Course is designed to develop the knowledge and necessary skills to effectively perform diver rescues and assist and administer the necessary first aid in the event of an emergency. You will learn skills such as how to perform self rescues, buddy rescues, recognize and calm potential panic divers, and administer proper first aid to divers that have experienced dive related injuries.

Course prerequisites:

  • Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent

  • Provide proof of current CPR, first aid and oxygen (O2) provider certification

  • Provide proof of SDI Advanced Adventure Diver certification or open water diver certification and 40 logged open water dives
     

SDI Master Diver minimum requirements:

  • Demonstrate mature and sound judgment concerning dive emergency planning

  • Complete all open water requirements safely and efficiently
